Brazil - FIFA World Cup 2014 - Day 7

Netherlands (3) - Australia (2) - Group B

The Socceroos proved they are three goals better than the Spaniards, which means they still lost to the Flying Dutch-Holland-Spaghetti-Chtulu-Men by a goal. The Oranje have more juice than Miami and Brasilia combined and looked confident, whether ahead, or even, or behind, or even, or ahead again. The clear B1 seed (unless Chile can derail them!) will likely face winner of MEX-CRO (A2). My money is that they'll defeat either.

Chile (2) - Spain (0) - Group B

It's over, Johnny! Chile proves that you don't have to wear orange to kick the Red Fury's butt. And Spain faces its worse collapse since that incident with the Armada. Don't pretend its shocking. They looked bad in the 2012 London Olympics as well. The June 23 matchup between Netherlands and Chile will be for all the marbles. Winner has a clear path to the final. Loser will have to get past Germany and Brazil to reach Rio.

Croatia (4) - Cameroon (0) - Group A

Croatia cruises to an easy win over Cameroon and remains in control of their own destiny. They need to beat Mexico to earn the A2 seed--a tie and the Tri celebrate. Oh, did I mention I'll be at CRO-MEX game? Hot ticket getting hotter.
